  • Who is my employer?
    If employed, Availability is the employer and all payroll and tax forms are generated through our office. You are "assigned" work with Availability’s clients and are an Availability field representative while working at the client’s location.
  • How and when am I paid?
    Availability processes all payroll in-house each week. In Fairview Heights payday is on the Tuesday following the week worked and in Alton it’s the Wednesday following the week worked. After time worked, you can either pick up your check at the Availability office you work out of or have it mailed to your residence.
  • What benefits are available to temporary employees?
    Availability offers employees vacation pay and holiday pay as well as the convenience of weekly pay processed in-house.
  • Am I required to pay a fee for this service?
    There is never a fee to our applicants or employees for the services we provide. The clients we serve pay all applicable fees.
  • How quickly will I be placed?
    Skills, salary requirements, flexibility and available jobs determine placement. Like any employer we cannot guarantee employment to everyone who applies.
  • What types of jobs do you offer?
    We staff all types of office positions in the administrative, clerical, medical and financial field, including but not limited to: Secretaries, Legal Secretaries, Administrative Assistants, PC Specialists, Customer Service Reps, Accounting Clerks, Loan Processors, Medical Records Clerk, Medical Billers, Data Entry Operators, Mail Room Clerks, Receptionists.
  • What is my commitment to Availability after I sign on?
    There are no contracts to sign with Availability. You are not required to accept any assignment that is offered to you. We do ask that you complete each assignment that you do accept. However, we know that certain situations cannot be avoided, and in those situations we ask that you provide the customary 2-week notice to prevent any unnecessary burden on our client.
  • Is training offered?
    We have tutorials available on our QWIZ™ testing and training system for Microsoft Office Products. If you are between assignments or pending an assignment and would like to improve your skills with certain programs, call the office nearest you to schedule training time. It’s that easy.
