We are a small company working hard to maintain business levels in an economy that is weak. If we are mandated to provide Obama Care for our employees, we will, most likely, not be able to stay in business. Not only do we not know what cost is involved at the detailed implementation level but we cannot absorb the costs involved with providing coverage in our business model. Our current policy is explained to any person interviewing with our company and it is their choice to continue in the interview process knowing what is included in the employment opportunity.
The biggest issue we face is making sure that we keep our policies and procedures up to date in our employee handbook. With things always changing, we need to stay on top of that to avoid issues.
